Try a boat tour into Resurrection Bay for a ranger-led expedition where you’ll see the stunning landscapes of fjords and glaciers, not to mention sea lions, puffins, and even orca and humpback whales. Dress warmly, and get your cameras ready for wildlife viewing like never before in Kenai Fjords National Park.
During the warmer months, visit Kenai Fjords National Park for hiking along the 7.4-mile Harding Icefield Trail – round trip – or spend the day kayaking in the Gulf of Alaska. Take advantage of salt and fresh water fishing, and catch some salmon, rockfish, halibut, and lingcod along Resurrection Bay. By winter, visitors of the park may cross-country ski, snowmobile or dog sled their way through the Kenai Peninsula, or go vertical and try ice climbing in the Kenai Fjords National Park.
