The Baranov Museum, located in Kodiak, showcases a wonderful collection of historical exhibits. The museum is housed in the 200-year-old Erskine House, also known as the Russian American Magazin. The museum not only collects and preserves historical artifacts, photographs and documents, but researches data on the Kodiak and Aluetian Islands region for educational purposes.
