Homer Brewing Company

Pratt Museum

The only natural history museum located on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska, in Homer, the Pratt Museum holds the key to much of the history of the Kechamak Bay region. The Pratt Museum was originally named for Sam and Vega Pratt, the couple who donated the land on which the museum was built. Featuring both indoor and outdoor exhibits showcasing, art, history, botanical gardens and nature, to name a few, the Pratt encompasses broad historical perspective of the region.

Among the exhibits, one in particular stands out to many visitors. This exhibit shows the history of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. In addition to the attractions and exhibits the museum features a museum store and a nature trail.
