Valdez Museum & Historical Archive
The Valdez Museum & Historical Archive offers visitors a wonderful opportunity to learn about rich history of Valdez. Schedule plenty of time to stroll through the second museum, Remembering Old Valdez, located a few blocks away. In this museum, visitors learn about the 1964 Good Friday Earthquake and the town relocation. A must-see exhibit of the museum, is the 1:20 scale model of the town before the earthquake.
