The University of Alaska Fairbanks
The University of Alaska Fairbanks is a Land, Sea and Space Grant University, located in Fairbanks. Known as "America's Artic University", UAF encompasses seven campuses in Alaska and more than 11,000 students from across the country. It remains the only Alaskan university with a doctoral program and is the state's top research and teaching institution.
Students attending UAF have a choice of 169 degrees, from Bachelor's to Ph.Ds, in more than 125 disciplines. The Center for Distance Education also offers over 100 correspondence courses that are applicable toward UAF degree programs.
