A public, city owned airpark, the Juneau International Airport (JNU) is set in the southeastern panhandle of Alaska, and serves the capital city of Juneau. Covering 653 acres, JNU featuring one terminal and two airstrips – one asphalt runway and one water runway.
JNU is served by airlines like Alaska Airlines, SeaPort, and Wings of Alaska – plus minor airlines like Air Excursions, Ward Air, and Alaska Seaplane Services. JNU is also a former World War II army airfield.
